The health care system needs to shift from a "disease-centred" to a "person-centred" approach, where patients are equal and active partners in their care.
Value in health care is the measured improvement in a patient's health outcomes for the cost of achieving that improvement. The goal of value-based care transformation is to enable the health care system to create more value for patients.

Which objectives has the project HealthLa4Value?
The overall objective is to contribute to systemic change by shifting towards value-based HC systems and creating sustainable structures (in the form of living labs) for the delivery of innovations and also to ease the transfer of technologies and knowledge with Open Innovation principles.
