Fundraise
Impactful innovation and research need lots of money. To effectively raise and manage the funds, we act as an idea maker, proposal writer, project facilitator, and manager of funds.
Where and what for we fundraise
We raise the funds from private or public sources. By private sources, we mean corporate sponsors or foundations; from public sources, we use programmes such as Horizon Europe, or Interregs.
Most of the funded projects focus either on Entrepreneurial support of startups and SMEs, Healthcare innovation, Education (InnoSchool) or Energy efficiency.

It is crucial to conduct thorough desk research on previously written topics and find the right match between what the programme wants and client's needs.

Project & Fund Management
After the project approval, we are fully capable of managing the partnership, selected Project Activities, and support our Client during the whole project duration.

„DEX Innovation Centre is our trustful and reliable partner in every step of the fundraising process for more than 8 years. Careful desk research before the proposal writing leads to the high success rate of projects elaborated by DEX IC. After the project approval, they professionally manage agreed work packages and if needed, the project partnership as well. I am looking forward to continuing our cooperation in the future.“

Frequently asked questions
Who can get help from DEX Innovation Centre with building a Horizon Europe consortium?
DEX Innovation Centre works with organisations preparing proposals for public programmes such as Horizon Europe, acting as a delivery and support partner rather than as coordinator. Typical clients include research organisations, public bodies, agencies and companies that need an idea shaped into a fundable concept, an application form written, and suitable project partners identified and brought into the consortium.
How does DEX Innovation Centre support Interreg partnering in Central Europe?
DEX Innovation Centre uses Interreg programmes as one of its main public funding sources and has coordinator experience in Interreg projects. Its work covers selecting and matching project partners across Central Europe, writing the application form, and, after approval, managing the partnership and agreed work packages throughout the project. Examples include CE-Connector, HoCare, HoCare2.0, PPI2Innovate and InoPlaCe.
What does DEX Innovation Centre provide during proposal preparation?
Proposal preparation at DEX Innovation Centre starts with idea making: thorough desk research on previously written topics and finding the match between what the programme requires and the client's needs. Two phases then run simultaneously — writing the application form and selecting the right project partners. This preparation approach is the basis of the success rate of the proposals it elaborates.
What happens after a funded project is approved?
After project approval, DEX Innovation Centre manages the partnership, the selected project activities and the funds, and supports the client for the whole project duration. This includes running the agreed work packages and, where needed, managing the project partnership itself, so the client keeps a single partner across the fundraising process from idea to project closure.
Which funding sources does DEX Innovation Centre work with?
DEX Innovation Centre raises funds from both private and public sources. Private sources mean corporate sponsors or foundations. Public sources are European programmes such as Horizon Europe and the Interreg programmes. The choice of source follows the project idea and the client's needs, identified during desk research before any proposal writing begins.
Which topics does DEX Innovation Centre fundraise for?
Most projects funded through DEX Innovation Centre focus on four areas: entrepreneurial support of startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, healthcare innovation, education, and energy efficiency. The InnoSchool project is an example in education. DEX Innovation Centre is a non-profit association (z. s.) and works on these topics with international partners.
How does DEX Innovation Centre involve stakeholders in funded projects?
Stakeholder involvement at DEX Innovation Centre happens through partner selection during proposal preparation and, in delivery, through validation formats such as Living Labs and pilot testing with hospitals, schools, SMEs and public actors. The purpose is real-world validation and stakeholder buy-in, so that the funded solution matches the needs of the people who are meant to use it.
